What our past trainees said:
"Firstly what a year! It was all I thought it was going to be and much more. The classes, the teachers, the fellow learners, the meltdowns, the frantic lunches and the light bulb moments, I loved the course, the intensity of it was challenging at times but thats what I loved about it too, it was such a focus for the year, it was eat, sleep and breath yoga and even though I am still practicing and teaching (pinching myself!) I didn't think I would say it miss it now!
Teaching Practice, oh I how loved and dreaded this all at the same time! I really liked the way we covered the asana syllabus in bite sized chunks, looking at the adjustments and following up the following month teaching these poses. I found Nikkis 'tough love' approach hard at the beginning but excellent as the year went on, her understanding of yoga and how the human body moves is very inspiring.
Anatomy - I enjoyed! I can't believe I would say that but the way you thought it was really fun, the classes flew, I found the sessions particularly good when we were moving in the poses also.
On the whole, the course is excellent, I love the different teaching approaches from all 5 teachers, yet with a consistent approach to each pose. I cannot imagine doing a yoga course with only one point of view, it was apparent from the get go that the teachers wanted us to succeed and become the best teachers we could be!
I just want to thank you all again, Greg for your consistent professionalism throughout, while keeping the sessions light, interesting and fun. Rohan for your relentless adjustments and breaking down each pose to facilitate a deeper understanding of what we were doing, Elena for your beautiful encouraging words and Nikki and Cara as mentioned already - truly inspiring. You are a wonderful team of gurus and I am so glad I made the decision to do my teacher training at Samadhi.
Gregs tea party was a super finish to it also!"
"What a fantastic 10 months these have been, we've been nurtured, guided and given the kick up the assana that we need at times and we have ourselves and each other to thank for it."
I wanna say thanks to the amazing teachers and my wonderful fellow trainees for a beautiful time together.
Samadhi became my second home during the last 10 month and it will always be a special place to me. Every single one of you will keep a little space in my heart and when I practise on my mat it will always be with the memory of my yoga family and how it all began for me! In samadhi, with the most amazing people you can imagine, with everyone supporting each other and bringing out the best in each other. I feel very blessed and lucky to have chosen to do the teacher training in samadhi and to have met you guys!
My appreciation for you guys is beyond words, what an overwhelming feeling of happiness to be part of such a wonderful group of people!
