Power Yoga Teacher
Martina began practicing yoga in 2006 when she returned to Dublin after some years living abroad. Her desire to gain more knowledge into the world of yoga led her to complete a Yoga Teacher Training course with YTTC Dublin in 2011 and since then has been instructing a flowing style of Hatha yoga classes to all levels of students. She believes her classes help each student to increase their flexibility, improve their balance and strength and help to create space and stability in the body and mind.
Martina’s classes have an emphasis on merging the breath with the movement, allowing the student to move more freely, with variations of the postures so students of all levels can participate, expand their practice and discover their body. Her classes are influenced by the many styles of yoga classes and workshops she regularly attends.
In 2014 Martina became interested in Yoga for women’s health while pregnant with twins and qualified with a certificate for Pregnancy Yoga with Yoga Therapy Ireland.
In 2015 Martina expanded her portfolio by completing a Yoga for Sports course with Yoga Therapy Ireland and in 2017 she completed a Mum & Baby Yoga course with the Elbowroom Dublin.
