Honestly speaking, I took my first yoga lesson lured by the promise of becoming flexible. I was a keen rider at the time and equestrian training made my body very stiff, so I used light yoga practice as complementary flexibility exercises for years. In 2005 I was introduced to Ashtanga yoga and I was captivated by its dynamics and physical challenge. I became a regular yoga student, and since then yoga has progressively taken a bigger part in my life.

The Vinyasa Flow teaching course with Dave Curtis and Ruth Walshe was a revelation to me. I signed up looking to build up and deepen my practice, but received much more than I bargained for. I realised that yoga is beyond physicality and that its benefits are endless. More than that, I found a home on my yoga mat, a place where you can find courage to face and transcend your limitations and be happy where you are at. I realised that your yoga practice can become a journey of exploration of who you really are.

I enjoy a strong physical practice with a focus on bringing awareness into every movement and asana that translates into my yoga classes. I also believe that it is important to keep a smile on your face even during the most challenging asani.

I feel that I am at the very start of my long journey on the yoga path and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I have learnt and to learn from my fellow teachers and students alike.
