I will individually design you a simple and effective method of pinpointing and targeting your back pain to get rid of it and ensure it doesn’t come back. There is no simple recipe or prescription for curing or preventing back pain, but rather many variables, from which I will be able to design the approach that suits your own circumstances and needs. Every method and every exercise used in this program is modified for your own personal condition and will start working on reducing and stopping your back pain within days from starting exercising.   • Monthly follow up appointments for 3 months after completing the program.
  • Online and in-person support throughout the program and for the first 3 months after completing it.

If you are my typical client, you have received a variety of treatments from many health professionals – massage, manipulation, heat, acupuncture, various medications such as anti-inflammatories, and injections. You also are aware by now that all the approaches you’ve tried so far are only providing a temporary relief, without any long-term benefits.

With this program, it goes without saying that you must be willing to work on your back rehabilitation yourself between our weekly sessions. Although on the initial acute stages I will help initiating the ‘un-jamming’ process in your spine – performing the exercise routines I design for you is up to you. The background decompression of the spine and the restoration of your trunk control can only be done by you with the consistent daily exercise. SPINAL THERAPIES WHICH DO NOT RECRUIT THE SUFFERER ALL SHARE SHORT-LIVED SUCCESS. A quick tweak here and another tweak there, and a repeat appointment in a couple of weeks, rarely achieves anything if there is no groundwork from you in the meantime. You have to decompress your spine. No one else can do this for you. You also may have to loosen contracture of spine’s soft tissues. No one else can do that for you. You have to restore strength to weak muscles. No one can do this for you either. So except for manually loosening a spinal segment, which is hard for you to execute with any degree of accuracy, you do the bulk of rehabilitation yourself. Are you willing to do some work? We are talking about 20 – 30 minutes daily?

SO HOW EFFECTIVE THIS PROGRAM IS LIKELY TO BE FOR YOU?

Answer ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to the following questions:
  • Are there periods in the day when you have no pain? Even 10 minutes?
  • Are you generally worse when sitting for prolonged periods or on rising from the sitting position?
  • Are you generally worse during or right after prolonged bending or stooping as in bed-making, vacuuming, ironing, concreting, digging or gardening?
  • Are you generally worse when getting up in the morning, but improve after about half an hour?
  • Are you generally worse when inactive and better when on the move?
  • Are you generally better when walking?
  • Are you generally better when lying face down? When testing this you may feel worse for the first few minutes after which time the pain subsides; in this case the answer is ‘yes’.
  • Have you had several episodes of low back pain over the last months or years?
  • Between episodes, are you able to move fully in all directions without pain?
  • Between episodes, are you pain-free?
  • If you have pain in the buttocks, or the upper or lower leg, does it sometime stop completely, even though you may still have pain in the back?

If you’ve answered ‘yes’ to all the questions, you are an ideal candidate to enrol on this program.
If you’ve answered ‘yes’ to 5 or more questions, your chances to benefit from this program are good.

There is no magical solution in this program – everything is based purely on the knowledge of spinal biomechanics and my experience in finding the methods to specifically target peoples’ individual spinal problems and stopping their back pain.
